Obituary of Noah David White

Noah David White, age 75 of Clinton, TN passed away Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge, TN.  He was a US Air Force veteran.  Noah and family also lived in Winthrop, Iowa for 15 years where he owned and operated a restaurant, was mayor for multiple terms and was a volunteer fireman.  He finished his working career with Clinton Utilities Board.  Noah loved reading, gardening and sports (especially the Braves!)  He was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Clinton, TN and a member of the Alpha Lodge 376 Clinton, TN.

Noah is preceded in death by his parents, J.H. and Dixie White; wife and the love of his life, Joy White; brother, Kelly White; and sister, Dean Hensley.

Noah is survived by his sons, John David White and wife Heather of Fall River, Wisconsin, James William White and wife Tina of Warner Robins, GA, and Jacob Andrew White and wife Amy of Powell, TN; brothers, Larry White and wife Linda of Clinton, TN, and Robbie White of Clinton, TN; sister, Roma Disney of Clinton, TN; 9 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren; daughter in law, Valerie White of Beaver Dam, WI; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Noah’s family will receive his friends on Saturday, February 16, 2019 from 6:00pm – 7:45pm with his masonic service beginning at 7:45 and funeral service to follow at 8:00pm in the chapel of Jones Mortuary with Rev. Robbie Giles officiating.  His interment will be on Sunday, February 17, 2019 at 1:00pm at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church cemetery in Clinton, TN.  Jones Mortuary in Clinton, TN is in charge of all arrangements. In lieu of flowers please consider donations to Shriners Hospitals for Children.
