Obituary of William Glenn Abbott

William “Bill” Glenn Abbott age 57 of Clinton, TN passed away early Friday, September 28, 2018 at Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge, TN.  Bill was a very kind hearted man.  He always found the good in people.  Bill never turned anyone away when they were in need.  He and his wife Tiffany have been foster parents to many children over the past 5 years.  He was a diehard Tennessee Vol fan and will be greatly missed.  Bill was preceded in death by his parents, Glenn and Audrey Abbott.

Bill is survived by his wife Tiffany Abbott of Clinton, TN; sons, Ronald Wade Jeffries of Mascot, Glenn Edward Abbott of Knoxville, and Charles Clay Jeffries II of Clinton; daughters, Rachel Diane Abbott of Clinton, Jessica René Hardy of Knoxville, Rebecca Gale Abbott of Newport, and Kaylee Dawn Abbott of Clinton; brother, Ricky Lynn Abbott of Knoxville; sister, Deborah Lamb of Knoxville; grandchildren, Anthony, Shyanne, Addison, Alivia, Abigail, Ava, Willa, Anna, Paisley, R.J., and his “next great expectation”, Ashton.

Bill’s family will hold a Celebration of Life at the Grist Mill in Norris on Sunday, September 30, 2018 at 11:00am. Jones Mortuary in Clinton, TN is in charge of all arrangements.
