I was saddened this weekend to hear about the passing of Bill Abbott. I worked a couple of different jobs with Bill over the years, one of which he helped me get. In 1999, when I decided to jump back into the pizza business and opened Pizza Express in South Clinton, Bill was instrumental in helping me get up and running. He always had good ideas and was a tireless worker, coming in after his regular job to help out, although I couldn’t pay him a lot. I would end up selling the business after a couple of years, oddly enough, to Bill. Bill was a good guy, and will be missed. Rest In Peace, Bill.
