Obituary of Kevin Samples

Kevin Eugene Samples age 38 of Powell, TN passed away Saturday, March 9, 2013 at home surrounded by his family. Kevin was a 1992 graduate of Powell High School. He enjoyed listening to music and was' an avid reader when he wasn't with his family or friends. Kevin was of the Baptist faith. He was a big hearted person who would do anything for anybody and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Kevin is preceded in death by his dad, Thomas E. Samples; grandparents, Lawrence & Irma Collins and James & Lola Mae Samples. Kevin is survived by his mother, Maria C. Samples; brother & sister-in-law, Todd & Karen Samples; sisters, Teri Samples and Amy Samples; nephews, Jonathon and Joshua Samples; nieces, Christina, Neyland and Katie Samples; many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends too many to mention; and the love of his life and fiancé Sarah Teets whom he loved very much. Kevin's family will receive his friends on Wednesday, March 13th from 6:00 - 8:00 pm with his celebration of life following at 8:00 pm in the chapel of Jones Mortuary with Rev. Mike Greene and Michael Greene officiating. His interment will be private. In lieu of flowers the family asks that you make a donation to a charity of your choice. Jones Mortuary in Clinton, TN is in charge of all arrangements.
