Obituary of David Edwards

David L. Edwards age 48 of Clinton, TN passed away suddenly on Saturday, March 2, 2013 at Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge, TN. He loved to cook and enjoyed the outdoors. David was very outgoing and would help anyone who was in need. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Paul Leander & Elsworth Mae Ellis, and David & Jennie B. Edwards. David is survived by mother, Sarah Evans & husband Harold of Clinton, TN; father, Willie Edwards of Rockford, ILL; sister, Tanya Smith & husband Charles of Clinton, TN, Kimberly Fields of GA, Greta Lyles & husband William of Rockford, ILL, Kim Whitt Gibson of Clinton, TN, Regina Wills of Rockford, ILL; brothers, Byron Edwards of Knoxville, TN, Willie Lee Edwards Jr.; special aunt, Mary Alice Willis of Corinth, MS; niece, Kdnyatta Brown of Rockford, ILL. He also leaves behind to mourn his passing a host of uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. David's family will receive his friends on Saturday, March 9th from 1-2 pm in the chapel of Jones Mortuary with his funeral service following at 2 pm with Rev. William Caldwell officiating. At David's request he will be cremated after his service. Jones Mortuary in Clinton, TN is in charge of all arrangements.
