Obituary of Evelyn King

Evelyn E. King age 96 of Clinton, TN passed away Tuesday February 26, 2013 at Norris Health and Rehab in Norris, TN. Evelyn was a lifelong member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church where she enjoyed playing the organ she also enjoyed gardening, sewing, and quilting. Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents, Cas & Bessie White Seivers; husband, James King; brothers, Elmer & James Seivers; sisters, Laura Brooks, & Norma Conniff. Evelyn is survived by her nephews, Joe Seivers and wife Emily of Clinton, TN, Jeff Seivers & wife Rose of Clinton, TN, Robbie Brooks & wife Sandy of Anderson, SC, David Ray Seivers of Clinton, TN; nieces, Sue Vann and husband Leroy of Clinton, TN, Bernice Cox and husband Gary of Clinton, TN, Marlene Bainum and husband Larry of Clinton, TN, and Barbara Seivers Marlin of Murfreesboro, TN. Evelyn's family will receive her friends and on Thursday, February 28th from 6:00-8:00pm with her funeral service following at 8:00pm in the chapel of Jones Mortuary with Dr. Kirk Wallace officiating. Her interment will be at 1:00pm Friday, March 1st at Woodhaven Memorial Gardens in Claxton, TN. Jones Mortuary in Clinton, TN is in charge of all arrangements.
