Obituary of Douglas Phillips

Douglas Phillips age 76 of Clinton, TN passed away Friday, February 15, 2013 at Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge, TN. He was a loving father, grandfather, and great grandfather. Doug enjoyed fishing and taking his grandchildren snipe hunting. He was always willing to help others who were in need. Doug was preceded in death by his parents, Orlando and Margaret Phillips; wife, Iva Martin (Ted); daughter, Iva Scott Green, and brother, Ernest Lee Phillips. Doug is survived by his daughter, Deborah Hammock of Clinton, TN. He also leaves behind 6 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren; best friend, Bill Taylor of Clinton, TN and a host of other relatives and friends. At Doug's request there will be no services for him. Jones Mortuary in Clinton, TN is in charge of all arrangements.
