Eddie ‘Lamar’, as I knew him, was the first true legend of radio I met, when just starting my career, at WYSH. I was so young, and Eddie was so worldly. A character who seemed bigger than life, with a heart of gold. Eddie made sure I knew the ways of radio, and never failed to bring a smile, and sometimes an eye roll. Oh, the things he would say, and stories he told. My heartfelt thoughts and prayers go out to Becky and all the family. -Kim Hansard
