Obituary of Johnny N Tindell

Johnny N Tindell departed this life for the next peacefully in his home surrounded by family, on May 26, 2020. He was born on October 9, 1936 in Anderson county to parents, Jake and Matha Tindell. He worked for Norris Dam State Park for 39 years. He was also in the Tennessee National Guard. He enjoyed working in the garden, squirrel hunting, and fishing. He is preceded in death by parents, Jake and Matha Tindell; brother, Ray Tindell; sisters, Ruthina Bailey, Jean Humphries, and Faye Riggs. Special nephew, Michael Humphries. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Sheryl Tindell; son, Logan (Michelle) Tindell; daughters, Amy (Howard) Martin and Suzanne (James) Kline; grandchildren, Melinda (Tyler) Stagnolia, Amber Byrge, Leah Byrge, Jacob Byrge, and Zoe Kline; great-granddaughter, Stephanie Stagnolia; special friends, Ike Stooksbury, Bill Andrews, and Jim Gross. Several nieces and nephews. Sheryl would like to thank the hospice team and caregivers, Amy Martin, and Russ Adkisson for all their help during this difficult time.
