Obituary of Shirley Summers

Shirley (Rutherford) Summers, born March 3, 1946, went to be with Jesus for Christmas on Monday December 24, 2012. She was preceded in death by her parents, Grover and Ethel Rutherford; siblings, Don and Frank Rutherford and Jean Bolton. Shirley is survived by her husband, Charles Summers; children, Nathanael Summers & his wife Melissa, Tabitha Cannon & her husband John; grandchildren, Christopher, Breanna, Jeremiah, Tessa, Emily (Joel); great grandchildren, Elijah & Grace; siblings, Betty Burke, Libby Russo, Jerry Rutherford, Mary Wallace, Doris Wooten & several nieces & nephews. Shirley's family will receive friends Saturday, December 29, 2012 from 5 PM- 7:30 PM at First Apostolic Church in Knoxville, TN. Her funeral service will immediately follow the visitation at 7:30 PM with Bishop Billy and Pastor Mark McCool officiating. Jones Mortuary in Clinton, TN is in charge of all arrangements.
