Bro Neal was an absolute great man , great musician, leader, teacher, mentor, when I was a young man just starting out to play the drums, he not only showed me how to be a good musician , but that the things he was showing me also went along as life lessons in which I have looked back on several times in my life and seen how they helped me make good decisions...He will always have a special place in my heart and my life...His common greeting "Hey Bro" will always be in my ears and my heart as well

I remember Neal's sense of humor wnd his musical talent more than anything. He was always making me smile, with the country slang he would use just being silly. It's such a fond memory I have from growing up in our church. And his musical ability, WOW ! I envy those who can read and play music, but he blew me away more than once by just holding up fingers to signal other musicians as to which chord to play next ! I had never seen anyone do that before, but you could always learn something from Neal Hill if you paid attention. What a treasure we had in him, and what a blessing he was and continues to be to so many. He is sadly missed !

I regret terribly that I am unable to come to the "Homegoing" service for Neal.....Living in Indiana
creates a hardship for traveling, but I know it will be a joyous occasion.....Neal is my first cousin.
My Father and His Mother were brother and sister and actually very similar in personality....I pray
that his family will bind together and enjoy good memories of Neal.....I hope this little poem blesses you.
Sometimes in the passing of a loved one, we don't really know what to say to the family so we tend to
avoid talking about the dear one whose gone.....That is a shame.
Speak Their Name
Someone I love has gone away
And life is not the same
The greatest gift that you can give
Is just to speak their name.
I need to hear the stories
And the tales of days gone past
I need for you to understand
Those memories must last.
We cannot make more memories
Since they are no longer here
So when you speak of them to me
It's music to my ears.
SPEAK THEIR NAME.
Love and prayers........Carmaleta (Stubblefield) Odle

Bro. Neal has been apart of our family for over 40 + years. He spent time helping my dad and uncle work on the Silver Eagle bus before we hit the road for a long trip. He was loved and is missed already but he is in a much better place even though we will have a hole in our heart God has a Helper beside him our grandpaw Neal. (Grandmaw loves you)
This picture was at the Dedication to the very first Merryville Church’s brother with Pastor our word dedication to the very first Miraval church read it with Pastor Jim Arwood that’s my dad beside him.
