So many weekends and summers I would spend at the Kelley's.. I would keep up all the kids but standing in the living room telling stories and laughing.. Gene would usually come in and tell us to quiten down and turn that music off! Gene taught me how to make pickles one summer and for years after he would tell Kim to call me to tell me he was making pickles and I would go down there and make pickles.. I never could wait until they were completely ready to eat, I would always eat them way before. Gene would laugh at me and tell me that I should wait a little longer, but I couldn't stand it.. Gene was also the first person I had ever met that liked burned green beans like me lol. He taught me a lot about fishing and would take me and Kim fishing even after we were grown. Gene was like a second dad to me, he would scold me just like my own dad would. He loved his cars that's for sure! I still see those old cars and think of him to this day... And yes he probably would not like the pictures being on here but I think they are wonderful..

Cars, cars, cars! He loved buying, selling, even trading cars. Once we were going through Oak Ridge when he pointed out the window and said.."See that car over there? It's mine, I got it yesterday." I asked if he was going to bring it home. "Nah" he said "I've already sold it to somebody."

If Daddy knew I put these pictures on the internet he would let me have it! He once told me "You better not put my picture up on that Spacebook junk!"

You were a good man, you will be missed but truly never forgotten. You made some great children which I love as my own brother and sisters, thank you. :)
