Obituary of Juanita Vickery

Juanita T. Vickery, age 84, of Clinton,TN passed away early Monday morning July 9, 2012, at Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge,TN. Juanita was a very giving woman who loved taking walks, gardening, and caring for her animals. She also loved the Lord and loved to testify to everyone. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great-great grandmother. She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Cora Tucker and husband John Vickery. Juanita is survived by sons, Stephen and wife Shirley Vickery of Jacksboro,TN; Allen and wife Ruby Vickery of Clinton, TN; Roger and wife Kimberly Vickery of Heiskell, TN; Ray Vickery of Clinton,TN; daughters, Linda Tindell and husband Gary of Oak Ridge, TN; Dale Welch and husband Gary of Union County; Rose Hall and husband Richard of Clinton, TN; Marlene Vickery Baxter of Clinton,TN; Alma Wesley and husband Elvin of Clinton, TN; Jaine Hardison and husband Steve of Clinton, TN; Mary Roach and husband Stanley of Lake City, TN and Sue Huckaby and husband David of Clinton, TN. She is also survived by 25 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren (3 on the way), 5 great-great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. Juanita's family will receive her friends on Wednesday, July 11, 2012 from 5-7pm with a celebration of life to follow at 7pm in the chapel of Jones Mortuary. Rev. James Hassell Wesley will be officiating. Her interment will be Thursday, July 12, 2012 at 11am in Blowing Springs Baptist Church Cemetery.
