Obituary of Eddie Lee Whiteaker

Eddie Lee Whiteaker age 65 of Knoxville, TN passed away suddenly on Monday, June 3, 2019 at his home in Knoxville, TN.  Eddie was known to be a caring and loving friend, and loved his family.   He did not have a harsh or unkind word to say about anyone.  Eddie was of the Baptist faith.  He liked to travel and loved the beach.

Eddie is preceded in death by his parents, James Lee and Mildred Whiteaker;  brothers, Jimmy Whiteaker and Henry Whiteaker; and sister, Pat Ezell.

Eddie is survived by his two brothers, Robert Gerald Whiteaker of Andersonville, TN,  Joe Whiteaker and wife Rhenea of Powell TN; three sisters, Judy Silcox and husband Jr of Heiskell, TN,  Fay Rosenbalm and husband Danny of Clinton, TN, and Jan Fox and husband Tommy of Knoxville, TN; and a host of other relatives and friends.

 Eddie’s family will receive his friends from 5 to 7 p.m. on Friday June 7, 2019 in the chapel of Jones Mortuary in Clinton TN with his funeral service following at 7p.m.  Eddie’s interment will be at 12 p.m. on Saturday, June 8, 2019 at the Woods Cosby Cemetery in Tazewell, TN.  Jones Mortuary in Clinton, TN is in charge of all arrangements.  In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Jones Mortuary LLC 375 N.
