Obituary of Joan Raquel Reece - Lloyd

Joan Raquel Reece-Lloyd also known as “Joanie”, age of 41, of Clinton, TN passed away suddenly on Monday, March 18, 2019 at her home in Clinton TN.  There are no words that can describe the loss of a 41yr relationship with this wonderfully generous, sometimes crazy always fun, caring enthusiastic woman.  She made friends everywhere she went; she left clothes at someone's house in at least 37 states.  She was zesty, saucy and full of spitfire, vinegar and honey.  She had a song for every moment and she never sang them softly. She'd fight you but she'd also fight for you, no literally it’s true.  She was ride or die before it was a cliché.  She was a best friend to all.  May God rest her soul and we hope she was met by her dad in heaven, which would make this loss a little more bearable. We love you, Joan Raquel always and Forever.  She shined her love and light to all who were around her, and was loved by many.

Joan is proceeded in death by her father, Johnny Ray Reece; husband, Benny Joe Lloyd; and Aunt Lynda Mosley.

Joan is survived by her mother, Mary Harmon of Clinton, TN; daughter, Mollie Emily Jolene of Oliver Springs, TN; siblings, Susan Reece Wilkinson and husband Todd, of Pensacola, FL, David Reece and wife Christy of Powell, TN, and Danny Harmon and wife Sara of Karns, TN; best friend, Wanda White of Clinton, TN;  niece, Macy Womack; nephews,  Logan Womack, John Reece Jr., Jackson Reece,   Ryker Harmon; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Joan’s family will receive her friends on Friday March 22, 2019 from 6-8 pm in the chapel of Jones Mortuary.  Her grave side service will be at the Circle Cemetery in Briceville, TN on Saturday March 23 at 1pm.  Jones Mortuary in Clinton, TN is in charge of all arrangements.
