Obituary of Billy Rhodey

Billy Rhodey age 49 of Clinton, TN passed away Saturday, November 10, 2012 at his home. He moved to Indianapolis in the 70's worked as a welder, and then returned to Tennessee in 1996 worked at DOE as a welder. Billy loved NASCAR, football, and enjoyed fishing with his Uncle Charles. He was a member of Poplar Creek Baptist Church in Clinton, TN. Billy was preceded in death by his father, William C. Rhodey. He is survived by his mother, Connie Hurley of Clinton; adopted mother, Velma Louise Rhodey of Clinton, TN; son, Charles Michael Rhodey of Chattanooga, TN; daughters, Amber Marie Rhodey of Cookeville, TN, Autumn Elizabeth Rhodey of Oak Ridge, TN; brothers, Randall Gene Rhodey of Clinton, TN, Charles Rhodey & Carolyn of Oliver Springs, Steve Rhodey & Jeanne of Clinton, TN, Archer Rhodey & Linda of Oak Ridge, TN; granddaughter, Sophia. He also leaves behind a special godmother, Kathy Vorhies and a host of other relatives and friends. Billy's family will receive his friends on Monday, November 12th from 6 - 8 pm in the chapel of Jones Mortuary. His interment and graveside service will be Tuesday, November 13th at 11 am at Anderson Memorial Gardens in Clinton, TN with Pastor Donnie Moore officiating. Jones Mortuary in Clinton, TN in charge of all arrangements.
