He was also predeceased by his FIRST WIFE (mother of his children, who he was with for most of his life), Vivian V. Wharton, his daughters-in-law Lydia Burns Wharton & Luanne Morse Wharton, as well as his great-grandson Garrett W. Waterman. He was survived by 4 other granddaughters - Kimberly W.A. Jefferies of Massachusetts, Kate Dawson Webster, Mirinda Wharton Waterman, & Justine W.J. Black, all of Vermont.
Clyde made his home in Connecticut & Vermont for the better part of 70 years before moving south. He had a lot more going on in his life then just the small bit that certain people were around for. Even if we weren't all that close any more, he would be appalled to know that there was no mention of any part of his life & family prior to living in Tennessee.
