Obituary of Clyde Ray Bell

Clyde Ray Bell better known as Ray, age 71 of Andersonville, TN passed away on Thursday, May 3, 2018 at the University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville, TN. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.  Ray loved working in the garden and fishing. He loved the Lord, preached most of his life, and was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Andersonville, TN.

Ray is preceded in death by his parents, Luther and Lizzie Bell; brother, Hubert Bell; sisters, Georgia Pyle and Barbara Jean Wallace.

Ray is survived by his wife, Joyce Bell of Andersonville, TN; sons, Phillip Bell and Janet of Oak Ridge, TN, and Jackie Bell and Tammy of Heiskell, TN; brothers, Elmer Bell and Becky of Heiskell, TN, and Millard Bell and Darlene of Andersonville, TN; sister, Verdie Demarcus of Knoxville, TN; grandchildren, Nicholas Bell, Zachary Bell, Alexa Bell, Sara Bell, Preston Bell, and Ava Bell; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Ray’s family will receive his friends on Sunday, May 6, 2018 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm in the chapel of Jones Mortuary in Clinton, TN with his funeral service following in the chapel of Jones Mortuary at 8:00pm with Brother Ed Seiber and Rev. Tyler Warwick officiating.  Ray’s interment will be at 11:00am on Monday, May 7, 2018 at the Mt. Olive Baptist Church cemetery in Andersonville, TN.  Jones Mortuary in Clinton, TN is in charge of all arrangements.
