Obituary of Gary Wayne Cox

Gary Wayne Cox age 69 of Rocky Top, TN passed away on Friday, February 16, 2018 at Summit View of Rocky Top in Rocky Top, TN.  Gary was a loving father, grandfather and great grandfather.  Gary served in the U.S. Army and was a Vietnam veteran. During his service he received several medals.

Gary is preceded in death by his wife Vickie Cox; parents, Ralph and Ella Mae Cox; and sister, Linda.

Gary is survived by his son, Tommy Wayne Cox; daughter, Melissa Cox of Rocky Top, TN; brother, Mike Cox of Rockwood, TN; 11 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

Gary’s family will have a private graveside service for him at a later date.  Jones Mortuary in Clinton, TN is in charge of all arrangements.
