Obituary of Roy Leon Rollins Jr

Roy Leon Rollins Jr., age 79 of Clinton, TN passed away on Thursday, January 18, 2018 at Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge, TN.  He was a fantastic musician and could play many different instruments.  Roy loved the lakes.  He is preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Ethel Rollins; son, Gary Dale White; and daughter, Randy Lee Goodpasture.

Roy is survived by his wife of 37 years, Shirley Rollins of Clinton, TN; sons, Tracy Rollins and wife Loretta of Oak Ridge, TN, Daniel Theisen and wife Anita of Knoxville, TN; and Cory Shane Rollins; sisters, Nancy Haese of Oak Ridge, TN, and Jeanie Cribb and husband Boyd of Lithia Springs, GA; grandchildren, Madison, and McKenzie Goodpasture, Molly, Marianna, Maggie, and Morgan Theisen; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Roy’s family will receive his friends from 12:30pm – 1:30pm on Sunday, January 21, 2018 in the chapel of Jones Mortuary.  Roy’s interment will be at 2:00pm on Sunday, January 21, 2018 at Oak Grove Cemetery in Rocky Top, TN.  Jones Mortuary in Clinton, TN is in charge of all arrangements.
