I was so saddened to hear of Paul's passing, I couldn't bring myself to write anything. I've known Paul since the early 1980's when we worked together at Miami Dade County's Information Technology Department. We worked together, did exercise walks together, and he and my husband Mark would meet up to play racquetball together. We remained friends through all the years, even as Paul moved away to take other jobs and eventually to retire. We visited with him while he lived in Florida, and even visited him once while he lived in Murfreesboro TN, and kept in touch throughout the years. I am so glad we had one more opportunity to have him spend a week with us during the summer of 2016 at our summer place in the mountains of upstate NJ. All throughout his life, he was a good friend to us, and even a mentor to our daughter when he shared his love of music and played piano during our visits with him. He always was available to help his friends, always looked for solutions for the problems of his friends, and always shared his amazing sense of humor with all around him, despite his last years being a struggle with his own health issues that could not be solved. I will miss him always and he will remain alive in my memory throughout all of my life.

I am a friend of Paul's from the Miami area where his cousin Bob Anderson introduced
us. Paul was also a pilot and we flew to the Florida Keys a few times. He was an
excellent pilot and I enjoyed his company. May he rest in peace.

I have known Paul since we were in High School at Bishop Noll Institute in Hammond, Indiana. We lost touch when Paul moved away and lived in different places for the military or work. About 20 years ago, maybe when he moved to Tennessee, we became reacquainted. Throughout these past 20 years we enjoyed each other's company at my family gatherings in Indiana, Michigan and Minnesota. Paul's favorite place to visit was Ludington, Michigan. He enjoyed going to the Big Sable Lighthouse and just watching the ferry boat leave and arrive at the dock in Ludington.
I will miss Paul. his stories (and he had a lot of them, some I couldn't repeat) and his sense of humor, even during the times of his failing health. I have lost a great traveling buddy. He always said, "Have friends, will travel," even in his last days with me in Door County just a couple of weeks ago. I'm glad we were able to go on one last trip together before he passed away.

Paul has been a friend to our family for many years. It started when my twin brother, Dan, became friends with Paul in high school. For me I felt he enjoyed himself at our parties, Pokagon State Park, and especially at our campground because so many family members were there. We all have memories and he will be missed.
