Obituary of Joseph Lester Harmon

Joseph Lester Harmon, better known as Joe age 74 of Clinton, TN passed away on Tuesday, August 15, 2017 at his home in Clinton.  Joseph loved fishing trips with his family.  He was a great mechanic and enjoyed working on lawnmowers.  Joseph enjoyed going in the woods and ginsinging when his health permitted.

Joseph is preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Virlay Harmon; and sister, Joyce Sue Camps.  He is survived by the mother of his children, Mary Harmon of Clinton, TN; children, Susan Ann Wilkenson and husband, Todd of FL, John David Reece and wife, Christy of Clinton, TN, Joanie R. Reece - Lloyd of Marlow, TN, and Daniel J. Harmon and wife, Sara of Knoxville, TN; grandchildren, Ryker Gage Harmon, Macy Womack, Logan Womack, John D. Reece Jr., Jackson Reece, and Emily Lloyd; great grandchild, Spencer Smith; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Joseph’s family had a visitation on Friday, August 18, 2017 from 11:00am – 12:30pm in the chapel of Jones Mortuary.  His interment followed his visitation at the Circle cemetery in Briceville, TN.  Jones Mortuary in Clinton, TN was in charge of all arrangements.
