Obituary of Sammy Roach

Sammy "S.H." Roach age 72 of Clinton, TN passed away suddenly Wednesday, October 3, 2012 at his residence. Sammy was a member of Charity Baptist Church in South Clinton. He loved his church family and enjoyed fishing. Sammy was preceded in death by his parents, Nedas & Irene Roach; wife Joyce Roach; brothers, Albert Roach and Stanley Roach Sr. He is survived by brothers, Bill Roach of Harriman, TN; Lylburn Roach & wife Renee of Tampa, FL; Gene Roach & wife Jeanie of Clinton, TN; sisters, Jane Duncan & husband Clarence of Jacksboro, TN and Jessie Stooksbury & husband Dallas of Clinton, TN. He also leaves behind several nieces, nephews, and host of other relatives and friends. Sammy's family will receive his friends on Friday, October 5, 2012 from 6-8 p.m. in the chapel of Jones Mortuary with his funeral service following at 8 p.m. with Rev. Bud Cook and Rev. David Seals officiating. Sammy's interment will be Saturday, October 6th at 11 a.m. at Blowing Springs Baptist Church Cemetery in Clinton TN. The family would like to thank all of those who loved him so much, and the home health care ladies that came everyday to care for him. Jones Mortuary in Clinton, TN is in charge of all arrangements.
