Obituary of Gloria Regina Vowell

Gloria Vowell age 53 of Clinton, TN passed away on Saturday, June 3, 2017 at the University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville.  Gloria enjoyed outdoor activities especially going to the beach and swimming.  She loved being with her family and friends and was very protective of her children.  Gloria was preceded in death by her parents, Ulys and Manda Vowell and son, Tyler Vowell.  

Gloria is survived by her son, Noah Jackson and his father, Freddy Jackson of Knoxville; brother, Randy Vowell of Mountain City, TN; sisters, Pam Nichols & husband Bill and Sherry Rainey Stokes all of Clinton; nieces and nephews, Jessica Lockett & husband Bryan, Pete Rainey & wife Diane, Billy Nichols & fiancé Misty, and Amanda Nichols as well as many other relatives and friends. 

Gloria’s family will receive her friends on Thursday, June 8, 2017 from 6pm-8pm at Jones Mortuary in Clinton, TN with her funeral service immediately following at 8pm in the Chapel of Jones Mortuary with Bro. Robert Jones officiating.  Gloria’s interment will be Friday, June 9, 2017 at 1:00pm at Foust Cemetery in Lake City, TN.
