Obituary of Dorotha Hill Turner

Dorotha Bell Hill Turner, age 86 of Heiskell, TN passed away on Thursday, June 1, 2017 at her home in Heiskell, TN.  Dorotha was born on August 12, 1930 to the late William and Hounta Bell.  She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great – great grandmother.

 Along with her parents she is also preceded in death by her husband, Ruba Hill; 2 sons, 3 daughters, and several brothers, and sisters.

Dorotha is survived by her son, Lionel Hill and wife, Deborah of Halls, TN; daughters, Shilda Sands and husband, Johnny of Maynardville, TN , Charlotte Ogle of Jefferson County, TN, Gilda Morris and husband, Frank of Heiskell, TN, and Ina Page of Ohio, 25 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren, 10 great - great grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Dorotha’s family and friends will meet for a graveside service at 10:30 am on Saturday, June 3, 2017 at the Red Hill Baptist Church cemetery in Andersonville, TN.  Jones Mortuary in Clinton, TN is in charge of all arrangements.
