Obituary of Mary Elizabeth Butterworth

Mary Elizabeth Butterworth age 55 of Clinton, TN passed away on Thursday, March 9, 2017 at Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge, TN. She was a loving mother, and grandmother. Mary loved the outdoors and enjoyed nature. She loved spending time with her children, and grandchildren. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Viola Goodman; brothers, Eddie Wayne Goodman, and Joe Mack Goodman. Mary is survived by her husband, Ronnie Butterworth of Knoxville, TN; son, Tyler Butterworth, and Nikki Loy of Clinton, TN; daughters, Heather Hopkins and husband, Jonathon of Maynardville, TN, and Taylor Butterworth of Knoxville, TN; sisters, Linda Griffin and husband, Don of Lake City, TN, and Brenda Hensley and husband, Kenneth of Lafollette, TN; grandchildren, Lukas Connor Butterworth, and Boe Hunter Hopkins, many nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends. Mary’s family will receive her friends from 6:00pm – 7:00pm on Monday, March 13, 2017 in the chapel of Jones Mortuary with her celebration on life following at 7:00pm with Bro. Bubby Hooks officiating. Jones Mortuary in Clinton, TN is in charge of all arrangements.
