Obituary of Larry Phillips

Larry Phillips age 68 of Clinton, TN passed away on Saturday, January 14, 2017 at his home in Clinton. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. Larry loved his grandchildren and spending time with them. He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, camping, and cook outings with the family, also going to flea markets. Larry is preceded in death by his parents, Harvey and Reba Phillips; son, Doug Phillips; brothers, Floyd Phillips, Charles Ray Phillips, Oscar Phillips, and R.C. Phillips. Larry is survived by his wife, Trena Phillips of Clinton, TN; sons, Michael Phillips and Stacy Patterson of Clinton, TN, and Toby Brock and wife, Carrie of Jacksboro, TN; daughters, Bridgette Anderson and husband, Greg of Clinton, TN, and Felicia Atkins of Lake City, TN; sisters, Rosalee Bean and husband, Virgil of Michigan, and Aileen Dixon and husband, Benny of Powell, TN; grandchildren, Caleb, Natalie, Jayden, Dakota, Jordan, Jessica, Michael II, Shane, Decody, Mystica, Larry, Samuel, Peyton, Presley, Jace, Skylar, Gracie, and Julianne; great grandchildren, Tanner, and Brody. Larry’s family would like to say thank you to Amedisys Hospice for their excellent care, and a special thank you and appreciation to Wayne Wood, Maggie, and Melinda. Larry’s family will receive his friends on Wednesday, January 18, 2017 from 6:00pm – 7:00pm in the chapel of Jones Mortuary. Jones Mortuary in Clinton, TN is in charge of all arrangements.
