Obituary of George Wesley Taylor

George Wesley Taylor, better known as Jody age 54, of Clinton, TN passed away on Sunday, January 8, 2017 at Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge, TN. Jody enjoyed fishing, and gardening. He was a very hard worker and loved his work family. Jody was a friend to everybody and would do anything for them. Jody is preceded in death by his parents, Carl Taylor Sr. and Shirley; and sister, Jeanne Rhodey. Jody is survived by his husband, Joey Bock of Clinton, TN; brother, James Taylor of Clinton, TN; sisters, Patsy Whiteaker of Andersonville, TN, and Linda Long and husband, Marvin of Clinton, TN; God son, Joeson Rhodey, and extended relatives and friends. Jody’s family will receive his friends on Friday, January 13, 2017 from 5:00pm – 7:00pm in the chapel of Jones Mortuary. His interment will be private. Jones Mortuary in Clinton, TN is in charge of all arrangements.
