Obituary of Betty Lois Phipps

Betty Lois Phipps age 65 of Rocky Top, TN passed away on Saturday, December 3, 2016 at her home in Rocky Top. Betty was of the Baptist faith. She loved her dogs that she referred to as “my girls”, but her family and kids were most important to her. Betty enjoyed cooking and reading. Everyone loved Betty and called her mom or momma. She was preceded in death by her parents, 3 brothers, and 1 sister. Betty is survived by daughters, Telisha Phipps & Jacob of Rocky Top, TN and Sissie Phipps & Judd of Fraterville, TN; sons, Brian Phipps & Sandy of Briceville, TN, Charlie Phipps of Rocky Top, TN and Travis Phipps & Shelly of Rocky Top, TN; 4 brothers,3 sisters, 14 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. Betty’s family will receive her friends on Wednesday, December 7, 2016 from 1:00pm – 2:00pm at Jones Mortuary in Clinton, TN. Betty’s interment will be Thursday, December 8, 2016 at 2:00pm at Mountain View Cemetery in Rocky Top, TN with Rev. David Triplett officiating.
