I am so sorry for your lose. Larry was a good man. He worked at Modine with my stepdad (Hotshot) and Larry came to the house hours before he died to check on him. I will never forget the love that he had for his friends. I am so sorry and I wish I could say it gets easier, but I still think about papa all the time. Just know that they both are in heaven now telling those Modine horror stories once again. God Bless you all!

Shanna – I cannot begin to know the extent of your heartbreak and words are surely of little comfort and will not heal the pain you’re feeling. But I do hope the knowledge that many people care and are thinking of you and praying for you and your family will bring a small measure of comfort. May God’s love and the love and support of family and friends bring you strength to get through this terrible tragedy. You and your family remain in my thoughts and prayers.

I didn’t know Larry well or long, but he did make an impression on me. I was the bookkeeper for TN Heating and Air, next door to South Clinton Pawn. I was usually there by myself. Larry would come out to get something from the storage trailer and would check on me. He told me to have them on speed dial in case anything happened, they would be there faster than the police could be. His concern about my welfare seems to be in line with what everyone has to say about him. He was a wonderful, caring, Godly man. I will have all of his family in my prayers. I know that he is with Our Father, but the loss to the entire community is tremendous. God Bless You All.

Larry was like no other. No matter what the age he approached everybody with respect and a non judgmental attitude. He was a friend to all and the repeated sentiment on all sites is true: the community of Clinton has lost a pillar. We LOVE YOU Larry. Thank you for being such an incredible witness to those around you.

My condolances to the family. I’m so sorry, Larry was always such a nice person. I mainly knew him through business at the shop. Both my brother and i will really miss him and what happened was not right. He was always cheerful when he spoke with me and very helpful and i can tell that was the kind of person Larry really was. I only hope we can meet again when my time comes. He was as i say, “good people”. I’m so sorry…

I am a cousin of Larry’s, I am Clara’s daughter who was Cythia’s sister. My Mother and I used to come down to Clinton every summer and stay st Cythia’s and Larry and I would run around together. I did try to get in touch with Sonny’s wife thru facebook by sending a message a couple months ago but she never replied. I was just informed last night about Larry by our cousin Betty Bryant. I am so sorry to hear about Larry, he was always so sweet to me when we were growing up, I wish I could have seen him or talked with him as we got older. Our prayers are with you and the family. I would love to talk with you, please feel free to contact me by email at lfm@centurytel.net or phone 440-988-7965.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family and Work family to Larry Snellings. I can’t begin to know what you all are going through, I know this has really effected me personally because I only knew him through being a customer, and I know Larry was a great man he loved his job and took it serious. He would always tell me “Honey I’m here and work for you” And since this has happened that’s all I can hear in my mind. Larry helped me out a lot and I know Clinton Tn lost a very good man Monday NOV. 7, 2011 This wasn’t suppose to happen here not in a quite town where everybody knows everybody. I know I wish I could take the pain away but I can’t and all I know is Larry is looking down on everybody (Family, Co workers, and Friends) again we’re sorry and we’ll be keeping everybody in our prayers.

Our prayers go out to you.Larry will forever be in our hearts. He was truly an angel here on earth and I know he is watching over us from Heaven.Every time we took the boys in the store Larry would say to Chandler “There comes my honey bun.”Larry would then remind us of the times that you and him bought Chandler honey buns and Chandler would come over to get one.Chandler is now 15 years old and has alot of cherished memories of Larry as everyone who new him.Chandler was and is upset about loosing his buddy but he told his little brother that Larry is in Heaven .I have listened to so many people telling about how Larry has reached out to help them .Please know we are here for you and God will see you through this difficult time.We love you all very much. He and I are continually keeping you, the family, and DeAnna & Lucky in our prayers. I was a few years ahead of him in CHS & I worked with him at Modine. He always had a smile on his face and was a very faithful person. He would do what he said he would. I know you know that God will see you through this tough time.
