Obituary of Olen Andrew Cook

Olen Andrew Cook, age 53, of Clinton, TN passed away on Saturday, June 4, 2016 at his sister’s home in Friendsville, TN. Olen enjoyed fishing, playing guitar and listening to WYSH. He is preceded in death by father, Boyd Cook; brothers, Brownlow Cook and Doyle Cook. Olen is survived by his mother, Cleda Cook; daughters, Jennifer Cook of Harriman, TN and Stephanie Cook of Clinton, TN; brothers, Houston Cook and wife Margaret of Heiskell, TN, Oscar Cook of Friendsville, TN and Thurston Cook of Clinton, TN; sisters, Thelma Cook of Clinton, TN and Arlene Murray of Friendsville, TN; and several nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Olen’s family will receive his friends on Wednesday, June 8, 2016 from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm in the chapel at Jones Mortuary in Clinton with his funeral service immediately following at 8:00 pm with Brother Robert Jones officiating. Olen’s interment will be Thursday, June 9, 2016 at 1:00 pm at Jarnigan Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery in Clinton, TN. Jones Mortuary in Clinton, TN
