Obituary of Floyd A Eggers

Floyd Eggers, age 95 of Jacksboro, TN passed away on Thursday, May 12, 2016 at Tennova Lafollette Medical Center in Lafollette, TN. He was an awesome husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. Floyd served our country in the United States Army during World War II, and the Korean War. He was a devout Christian and was a member of First Apostolic Church in Lafollette, TN. Floyd was preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Bertha Eggers; and brother, Richard Eggers. Floyd is survived by his wife, Belva Eggers of Jacksboro, TN; sons, Louis Arthur Eggers and wife, Christine of Clinton, TN, Mark Allen Eggers of Knoxville, TN; daughters, Esther Dellinger and husband, Gene of Washington, Rebecca Hart and husband, Robert of Strawberry Plains, TN, Gayle Granger and husband, Curtis of Oregon; 14 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends. Floyd’s family will receive his friends from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm on Monday, May 16, 2016 with his celebration of life to follow at 7:00pm at First Apostolic Church in Lafollette, TN with Bro. Moses and Rev. David Triplett officiating. Jones Mortuary in Clinton, TN is in charge of all arrangements.
