Obituary of Lezlie Carole Holbrook

Lezlie Carole Holbrook, age 56 of Andersonville, TN passed away on Wednesday, May 11, 2016 at her home. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Lezlie loved to sew and made beautiful dolls. She enjoyed NASCAR racing, fishing, and camping, and lived life to the fullest. Lezlie was a volunteer for Anderson County Breakaway for 15 years. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Andersonville. Lezlie was preceded in death by her grandparents, Leslie Ray and Evadna Laxson, and J.A. and Margaret Tilley; and father in law, Morris Holbrook. Lezlie is survived by her parents, Robert and Millie Laxson of Andersonville, TN; husband, Ricky Holbrook of Andersonville, TN; daughters, Erica Warwick and husband, Jonathan of Clinton, TN, Aimie Vaughn and husband, Dave of Union Grove, WI, Tamie Ridenour and husband, Josh of Clinton, TN; brother, Bob Laxson of Andersonville, TN; sisters, Susan Tulloch and husband, Gene of Maryville, TN, Gayle Carver and husband, Al of Chesapeake, VA; 7 grandchildren, Evie, Lillie, Caitlin, Brad, Sydnie, Reed, Jarrett, and one soon to be born. She also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends. Lezlie’s family will receive her friends from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm on Tuesday, May 17, 2016 at First Baptist Church of Andersonville with her celebration of life to follow at 7:00 pm with Rev. Steve Lakin officiating. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made in Lezlie’s name to First Baptist Church of Andersonville, 3949 Andersonville Hwy., Andersonville, TN 37705. Jones Mortuary in Clinton, TN is in charge of all arrangements.
