Obituary of Harold Golden

Harold Golden age 63 of Lake City, TN passed away Wednesday, February 15, 2012 at his residence. Harold was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and brother. He was a dedicated soldier of the 101st airborne out of Ft. Campbell, KY from where he retired. Harold enjoyed hunting, fishing, and NASCAR racing. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Loraine Golden. He is survived by his wife: Mary Golden of Lake City, TN; daughters, Donna Poarch & husband Michael of Clinton, TN, Michelle Barnard & husband Jeff of Clinton, TN, Tamassa Versey & husband Tony of Ashlend, KY, Becky Toney & husband Gene of Clinton, TN, Lei Williams & husband Jeff of Greenback, TN ; brothers, Charles Russell Golden of Clinton, TN, Ronald Dean Golden of Clinton, TN, Richard Dean Golden; sister, Patricia Jane Altum & husband Robert of Clinton, TN. He also leaves behind 7 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild soon to be born, several nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Harold's family will receive his friends on Sunday, February 19, 2012 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm with his funeral service following at 8:00 pm in the chapel of Jones Mortuary with Pastor Chris Thomas & Rev. Bud Cook officiating. His interment will be Monday, February 20th at 3:00 pm at the Sunset Cemetery in Clinton, TN with full military honors. Jones Mortuary LLC in Clinton, TN is in charge of all arrangements. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made in Harold's memory to Jones Mortuary LLC, 375 N Main Street, Clinton, TN 37716.
