Obituary of John Dennis Hobbs Jr.

John Hobbs Jr age 56 of Oliver Springs, TN, passed away on Wednesday, December 30, 2015 at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis, IN. John was known by many others as “Clyde Claude”, “Hippy”, and “Dawg”. He enjoyed his bull dogs, and motorcycles. John was preceded in death by his parents, J.D. Hobbs Sr. and Laura Mae Gilmore Hobbs. John is survived by his wife, Tina Hobbs of Oliver Springs, TN; daughter, Amy Anguiano of Townsend, TN; brothers, Robert F. Lawson and wife Gayle of Rockwood, TN, and Gary L. Lawson and wife, Janice of Knoxville, TN; sister, Patricia Evans and husband, Dan of Ringo, GA; grandson, Austin Jaiden Ault; and lifelong best friend, Billy “Cooter” Webb. John’s family and friends will meet 6:00pm – 8:00pm on Tuesday, January 12, 2016 in the chapel of Jones Mortuary in Clinton for his celebration of life. Jones Mortuary in Clinton, TN is in charge of arrangements.
