Obituary of Barbara Brissette

Barbara Brissette age 77 of Lake City, TN passed suddenly on Thursday, December 24, 2015 at her home in Lake City. Barbara enjoyed art, painting, and photography. She loved flowers. Barbara was of the Church of God faith. Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, Pearl and Edna Miracle; husband, Herbert Brissette; brothers, Clarence Miracle, and Eldon Miracle; sister, Mildred Miracle, daughter, Marsha Elaine Hooks; and great granddaughter, Madison Neeley. Barbara is survived by her sons, Clyde Hooks and wife, Jeanie of Lake City, TN, Wayne Hooks of Powell, TN; sister, Betty Hicks and husband, Veagus of Lake City, TN; 4 grandchildren, Elsie Hooks, Amy Clabough and husband, Matthew, Steven Hooks and wife, Emily, and Randy Snyder and wife, Kristy; 10 great grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends. Barbara’s family will receive her friends on Monday, December 28, 2015 from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm with her funeral service following at 8:00 pm in the chapel of Jones Mortuary with Rev. David Triplett, and Rev. Donald Douglas officiating. Barbara’s interment will be 11:00 am on Tuesday, December 29, 2015 at the Glen Foust cemetery in Lake City, TN. Barbara's pallbearers will be Bobby Simpson, Brent Simpson, Gavin Neeley, Steven Hooks, Phillip Snyder, and Gary Harness, honorary pallbearers will be Micah Neeley, and Bailey Neeley. Jones Mortuary in Clinton, TN is in charge of all arrangements.
