Obituary of Shirley Seiber

Shirley Seiber, age 64 of Clinton, TN passed away on Wednesday, December 9, 2015 at her home. Shirley was a very loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She loved playing bingo and going to Vegas. Shirley was very outgoing, enjoyed the outdoors, and playing horse shoes. She loved her dog, Tiny. Shirley was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Clinton, TN. Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, Walker and Cora Seeber; two husbands, Leonard Rains, and Ed Seiber; son, Terry Lynn Rains; sisters, Geneva, and Trula Hobbs; and grandchild, Alyse Hatfield. Shirley is survived by her son, Kevin Lynn Rains and wife, Kimberly of Lake City, TN; daughters, Lisa Hobbs of Lake City, TN, Teresa Taylor and husband, Eddie of Clinton, TN, Melessa Byrge of Clinton, TN, and Alisha Rains of Clinton, TN; brothers, Scotty Seiber and wife, Jerri of KY, and W.L. Seiber of KY. She also leaves behind 7 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends. Shirley’s family will receive her friends from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm on Thursday, December 10, 2015 in the chapel of Jones Mortuary, with her funeral service to follow at 8:00 pm with Chaplain Tom Rayford officiating. Shirley’s interment will be 11:00 am on Friday, December 11, 2015 at Sunset Cemetery in Clinton, TN. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Jones Mortuary, 375 N. Main Street, Clinton, TN 37716.
