Obituary of Linda Sue Williams

Linda S. Williams age 73 of Clinton, TN passed away peacefully at U. T. Medical Center in Knoxville, TN on Sunday, September 20, 2015 due to complications from surgery. She grew up in Lake City, TN. Linda formerly worked for Git N Go # 2, several nursing homes, and retired as a CNA from Oak Ridge Hospital 3rd floor in 2002. She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Oak Ridge, TN. Linda was always willing to help anyone. She was a special mom, sister, Grand Nana and Great Grand Nana. Linda is loved by all and will be deeply missed by everyone. Linda was preceded in death by her son, Richie Williams; parents, Luke and Violet Wright; and grandfather, Fred Luke. Linda is survived by her Uncle & Aunt, Charles and Willa Luke of Marlow, TN; daughters, Delaina Williams of Louisville, TN, and Anglia & Robert Snow of Seattle, WA; brother and sister in law, Gary & Janet Wright of Dutch Valley, TN; sisters, Kay Parker of Louisville, KY, and Betty & Paul Rogers of Clinton, TN; grandson, Ian Williams, granddaughters, Jessica McMillian, Amanda Knight, and Robyn Lewis; three great grandsons, one great granddaughter; stepson, Little Dale Lewis; several loving nieces, nephews, several very special friends. Linda’s family will receive her friends on Thursday, September 24, 2015 from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm with her celebration of life following at 7:00 pm in the chapel of Jones Mortuary. Jones Mortuary in Clinton, TN is in charge of all arrangements.
