Obituary of Claude Robbins

Claude Robbins age 66 of Clinton, TN passed away Friday, March 6, 2015 at his home. Claude was a member of Full Gospel Baptist who enjoyed being with his grandkids, watching Westerns, being with old friends, and his dogs. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Lillian Robbins. Claude is survived by his wife, Vickie Robbins; sons, James Paul Robbins of Washington, Marcus Milton of Clinton, and Anthony Trentham and wife, Melissa of Knoxville; daughters, Rosie Striplin and husband David of Clinton, Melissa Barker of Clinton, and April Trentham & Steve Gifford of Rocky Top; brother, Hubert Robbins of Morgan County; sisters, Rosie Cherry and husband Bobby, Brenda Pyles and husband Charles, Louise Hill and husband Woodrow, and Naomi Lowe all of Clinton, Evon Knox of Jefferson City, and Alene Pyles and husband Claude also of Clinton; special aunt, Lois Jean Patterson of Georgia; grandchildren, Heather, Jimmy, Nicky, Leeann, Amber,, Alexis, Anthony, Faith, and Gracie; great grandchildren, Jayden, Savannah, Hunter, Colton, Ayden, and Bentlee. Claude’s family will receive friends on Sunday, March 8, 2015 from 6pm – 8pm with his funeral service immediately following at 8pm in the chapel of Jones Mortuary with Bro. Owen Hooks officiating. His interment will be Monday, March 9, 2015 at 1pm at Foust Cemetery in Rocky Top. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Jones Mortuary at 375 N. Main St., Clinton, TN 37716. Jones Mortuary is in charge of all arrangements.
