Obituary of Herbert Brissette

Herbert Brissette age 86 of Knoxville, TN passed away suddenly on Friday, February 6, 2015 at Parkwest Medical Center in Knoxville, TN. Herbert had a passion for work, and attended Cross Connection Apostolic Church in Lake City, TN. In his younger days he was a roller skate dancer, and also enjoyed bowling. Herbert is survived by his wife of 34 years, Barbara Brissette of Knoxville, TN; son, Michael Brissette; step sons, Rev. Clyde Hooks & wife, Jeannie of Lake City, TN, and Gary Wayne Hooks of Lake City, TN; grandchildren, Elsie Swain & husband Jeff, Amy Clabough & husband Matthew, Steven Hooks & wife Emily, and Phillip Snyder & wife Kristi, and 11 great grandchildren. He also leaves behind a host of other relatives and friends. Herbert’s family will receive his friends on Sunday, February 8, 2015 from 4 – 6 pm in the chapel of Jones. Herbert’s funeral will be Monday, February 9, 2015 at 1:00 pm in the chapel of Jones Mortuary with Rev. David Triplett and Rev. Clyde Hooks officiating. His interment will follow his funeral service at the Glenn Foust Cemetery in Lake City, TN. Jones Mortuary in Clinton, TN is in charge of all arrangements.
