Obituary of Dorothy R. Anthony

Dorothy Anthony, age 81 passed away on Saturday, January 10, 2015 at Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge, TN. Dorothy was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She attended Bible Way Full Gospel Church in Clinton, TN. Dorothy enjoyed sewing, collecting dolls, and traveling. Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas & Gladys Rose; husband, Clyde Anthony; son, Lawrence Virgil Foust Jr.; daughter, Charlotte Martin; brother, Rudolph Rose; sister, Otsy Leinart; and son in law, James Daugherty. Dorothy is survived by her son, Albert Foust & wife Rosalee of Luttrell, TN; daughters, Darlene Daugherty of Heiskell, TN, Carol Mercer & husband Phil of Canton, OH; stepson, Ray Anthony of Knoxville, TN, David, Popcorn, and Charles; brother, Zell Rose of Heiskell, TN; and sister, Dean Widener & husband, Hubert of Heiskell, TN. She also leaves behind several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, friend, Robert Stephens of Middlesboro, KY and a host of other relatives and friends. Dorothy’s family will receive her friends on Monday, January 12, 2015 from 6:00 – 7:00 pm with her funeral to follow at 7:00 pm in the chapel of Jones Mortuary with Rev. Bubby Hooks and Rev. Brian Brown officiating. Dorothy’s interment will be 11:00 am on Tuesday, January 13, 2015 at the Sartin Cemetery in Heiskell, TN. Jones Mortuary in Clinton, TN is in charge of all arrangements.
