Obituary of Laura Baker

Laura Baker, age 69 of Clinton, TN passed away on Tuesday, December 23, 2014 at her home. Laura was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and loved her grandchildren dearly. She enjoyed working with flowers, crocheting, and knitting. She was a member of Victory Baptist Church in Andersonville, TN. Laura was preceded in death by her step father, Earl Evans. Laura is survived by her mother, Esta Evans of Clinton, TN; husband of 49 years, Dennis Baker of Clinton, TN; son, David Baker (Judy) of Athens, TN; daughters, Denise Wadsworth of Clinton, TN, Dana Bell of Clinton, TN; brothers, Danna Johnson of Blountville, TN, Jerry Evans of ILL; two grandchildren, Jonathan, and Alexander; and a host of other relatives and friends. Laura's family will receive her friends on Friday, December 26, 2014 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm in the chapel of Jones Mortuary. Laura's funeral service will be Saturday, December 27th at 11:00 am in the chapel of Jones Mortuary with Rev. Larry Ridenour officiating. Laura's interment will follow her service at Woodhaven Memorial Gardens in Claxton, TN. Jones Mortuary in Clinton, TN is in charge of all arrangements.
