Obituary of Peggy Queener

Peggy Joyce Queener age 81, of Clinton TN, passed away on Saturday December 6, 2014 at Golden Living Center - Windwood in Clinton TN. Peggy was a member of Covenant Life International Church, a graduate of Carter High School in 1951, Peggy lived in Oak Ridge TN, where she worked in several retail stores and retiring from J C Penny. She was preceded in death by her parents Earle and Gladys (Pickell) Drake and son Michael Wiseman. She is survived by sister, Barbara Duncan of Knoxville TN; daughter, Beth Brooks and husband Michael of Clinton TN; grandchildren, Theresa Wiseman, Amy Tenney & husband Shane, Shane Wiseman & wife Beth, Matthew Brooks & wife Tawnya and Mickel Brooks; great grandchildren, Sarah, Joseph, Isiah, Dae, Lane, Dylan, Olivia, Summer and a host of other relatives and friends. Peggy's family would like to express their thanks to all the wonderful staff of Golden Living Center for their heartfelt care and attention given to Peggy while in their care. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Alzheimer Association of Knoxville at 5801 Kingston Pike, Knoxville TN, 37919 Peggy's family will receive her friends on Monday December 8, 2014 in the chapel of Jones Mortuary in Clinton TN, from 6 to 7 pm with her celebration of life following at 7 pm in the chapel with Pastor Tony McAfee officiating. Peggy's interment will be on Tuesday December 9, 2014 at 11am, at the Oak Ridge Memorial Park in Oak Ridge TN. Jones Mortuary in Clinton TN is in charge of all arrangements.
