Obituary of George Hatfield

George Hatfield age 66 of Heiskell, TN passed away Thursday, December 4, 2014 at Tennova North Knox Medical Center in Powell. George was a member of Piney Grove Baptist Church in Clinton. He loved to bowl, fish, and play cards. He also loved football and basketball and was an avid Oak Ridge football fan. George was preceded in death by his parents, Michael Grover and Evelyn Hatfield; father-in-law, Willis A. Hamock Jr. and brothers, Donald and James Hatfield. George is survived by his loving and caring wife of 36 years, Janice Hatfield; mother-in-law, Mary Sue Hamock Hatfield; brother, Richard Charles Hatfield; sister-in-law, Carolyn Moore and husband Billy all of Heiskell; brother-in-law, Michael Hamock and wife Darlene; sister-in-law, Wanda Elliott and husband Greg all of Clinton; special family, Tommy and Connie Coleman of Halls; many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends. George's family will receive friends on Sunday, December 7, 2014 from 1pm - 3pm at Piney Grove Baptist in Clinton, TN. His funeral service will be at 3pm with Jason Rogers and Billy Moore officiating. George's interment will immediately follow his services in the church cemetery.
