Obituary of V. Rhodey

V. Louise Rhodey "Nanny" age 91 of Clinton, TN passed away on Sunday, August 10, 2014 at Golden Living Center - Windwood in Clinton, TN. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Louise enjoyed working with the needy in the community. She was a member of Poplar Creek Baptist in Clinton, TN. Louise was preceded in death by her father and mother; husband, William C. Rhodey; son, Billy Rhodey; brother, L.L. "Tom" White; and 3 sisters. Louise is survived by her sons, Charles Rhodey & wife Carolyn "Jean" of Oliver Springs, TN, Steve Rhodey and wife Jeanne of Clinton, TN, Archer Rhodey & wife Linda of Oak Ridge, TN, Randy Rhodey of Oak Ridge, TN; stepson, Giles Rhodey of Daphne, AL; daughter, Connie Hurley & husband, Michael of Clinton, TN; stepdaughter, Winifred Edgeworth of Daphne, AL; sisters, Ella Fay Ryan & husband Newton of Deland, FL, and Ann Panozza of Cedar Lake, IN. She also leaves behind 14 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends. Louis's family and friends can call at their convenience on Wednesday, August 13, 2014 from 9:00 am to 7:30 pm at Jones Mortuary. Her interment and graveside will be on Thursday, August 14th at 2:00 pm at the Anderson Memorial Gardens in Clinton, TN with Dr. Donnie Moore officiating. Jones Mortuary in Clinton, TN is in charge of all arrangements.
