Obituary of William Burt II

William "Bill" Burt II, age 49 of Lake City, TN passed away on Thursday, July 3, 2014 at UT Medical Center in Knoxville, TN. Bill was a loving and dedicated husband, father, son, uncle, and friend. He loved cars and racing, mountain biking, fishing, being outdoors, and gardening with his daughter. Bill was preceded in death by his grandparents, Alex & Margaret Burt, and Charles & Daphne Hout. Bill is survived his parents, William & Charlene Burt of Clinton, TN; wife, Tammy Burt of Lake City, TN; son, Will Burt of Lake City, TN; daughter, Lexi Burt of Lake City, TN; sisters in law, Peggy Emerick & Kevin of Lake City, TN, Chrissy Warnick of Cumberland, MD; and a host of other relatives and friends. Bill's family will receive his friends on Monday, July 7, 2014 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm with his memorial service to follow at 8:00 pm all in the chapel of Jones Mortuary with Rev. Chris Tackett officiating. In lieu of flowers donations can be given to Lexington Shriners Hospital, 1900 Richmond, KY 40502. Jones Mortuary in Clinton, TN is in charge of all arrangements.
