Obituary of Idell Maggard

Idell Maggard age 77 of Knoxville, TN formerly of Clinton passed away on Wednesday, June 18, 2014 at NHC Healthcare in Knoxville. Idell loved sewing, listening to Blue Grass music, and cooking. She is preceded in death by her parents, Melton and Annie Phillips; husband, Grover Maggard; son-in-law, Doyle Cook and great granddaughter, Layla Fayth Dotson. Idell is survived by several children, siblings, grandchildren, and great grandchildren as well as many other relatives and friends. Her family would like to thank NHC in Knoxville for the care given while she was a resident. Idell's family will receive friends on Thursday, June 19, 2014 from 6pm - 8pm in the chapel of Jones Mortuary in Clinton, TN. Her funeral service will immediately follow at 8pm with Bro. Robert Jones officiating. Interment will be Friday, June 20, 2014 at 10am at Jarnigan Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery.
