Obituary of Dakota Thomas

Dakota Tyrel Thomas age 17 of Heiskell, TN passed away suddenly on Wednesday, February 19, 2014. Dakota loved hunting, fishing, animals, and the outdoors. Dakota will be greatly missed. Dakota is survived by his mother, Elaine Thomas; brother, Apache Thomas; sister, Cheyenne Strong (Branden) and niece Brooklyn Strong; grandparents, Frank and Gilda Morris all of Heiskell, TN; Frank was his grandpa, but the only dad he ever knew; aunt, Patience Lane (Scott); uncle, John "Busty" Morris (Jamie) all of Andersonville, TN; cousins and best friends, Camron Ray and Keanu Lane; great grandma, Dorotha Hill of Heiskell, TN and a host of other relatives and friends. Dakota's family will receive his friends on Friday, February 21, 2014 from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM with his celebration of life to follow at 8:00 PM all in the chapel of Jones Mortuary with Rev. Tom Aiken officiating. His interment will be Saturday, February 22, 2014 at 2:00 PM at the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery in Heiskell, TN.
