Obituary of Frances Cheatwood

Frances "Gail" Cheatwood Crowley age 70 of Clinton, TN passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 8, 2014 at Parkwest Medical Center in Knoxville, TN after a brief battle with cancer. Gail loved her family fiercely. She enjoyed cooking for everyone, having picnics in the mountains, going to yard sales and bingo, playing cards and watching Dancing with the Stars. Gail was preceded in death by her parents, Sie and Helen Turner; husband, Harold Crowley; son, Gary Cheatwood; sisters, Mildred Bennett and Carol Melton; grandchildren, Matthew and Aaliyah; and nephew, Kenneth. She is survived by her beloved companion, Delbert Weaver; son, Mike Green (Leann) of Knoxville, TN; daughter, Michelle Paige (Albert Slack) of Clinton, TN; honorary daughter, Tracy Henderlight (Jerry) of Corryton, TN; stepson, John Nipper; sister, Linda Smith of Oak Ridge, TN; brother, Jimmy Turner of Knoxville, TN; grandchildren, Ashley, Terry "Buster", Cody, Shelby, Zykeylan and Raylesha; honorary grandchildren, Mahavir and Dev Patel; special nieces, Jaynetta, Tisha, Christy, and Brandy; special nephew, Brian; nieces and nephews, Peanut, Helen, Rodney, Sandy, Jackie, Frank, and Denise; stepchildren, Betsy, Tracy, Michael and Penny; special friends Marshall, Brian, Lisa, Julia, Becky, Pat, and Bobby, and Raghini Patel; furry friends, Pooh and Pebbles; and many many family and friends she loved along the way. Gail's family will receive her friends on Tuesday February 11, 2014 from 6:00 - 8:00 with her celebration of life following at 8:00 pm in the chapel of Jones Mortuary with Rev. Allen Giles officiating. Jones Mortuary in Clinton, TN is in charge of all arrangements
