Obituary of Shannon Sampson

Shannon Lynn Sampson, age 55 of Clinton, TN, passed away Wednesday, January 8, 2014 at Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge. Shannon was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved Christmas and flower gardening. Her joy in life was her children and grandchildren. Shannon was a member of Edgemoor Baptist Church in Clinton. She was preceded in death by her parents, Odell and Ollie Wright and brother, Danny Douglas Wright. Shannon is survived by her husband of 29 years, Daniel Sampson of Clinton; son, Justin Sampson and wife Katie of Kingston; daughter, Amy Guy of Oakdale; grandchildren, Raelynn, Dannah, and Madison McBride of Clinton and 1 sister and brother -in-law. Shannon's family will receive her friends on Saturday, January 11, 2014 from 6pm-8pm with her funeral service immediately following at 8pm all in the chapel of Jones Mortuary with Rev. Rick Miller officiating. Her interment will be Sunday, January 12, 2014 at 3pm at Wright Cemetery in Jamestown, TN.
